This illustration accompanies the article by Y. Li et al. “Intracellular Delivery and Biodistribution Study of CRISPR/Cas9 Ribonucleoprotein Loaded Bioreducible Lipidoid Nanoparticles” published in the journal Biomaterials Science (January 2019). The illustration depicts the finding that lipidoid nanoparticles promote the delivery of the Cas9 to mammalian cells. This delivery enhances the genome editing through the CRISPR/Cas9 system.
