AA radiographic imaging system produces monochromatic images. Consequently these grayscale images, when used for non-clinical applications such as public relations and marketing purposes, might be considered dull and uninteresting. In this photograph of a healthy human chest, the boney skeleton, lungs and the shadow of the heart are all visible. In this radiograph, various regions have been colorized selectively to create more visual interest and drama.
