The reptile located on the left side of the photograph is a flying lizard that uses the bones locatedThis image was made to reveal the boney structure of the reptiles. The reptile located on the left side of the photograph is a flying lizard that uses the bones located in the ribcage as a sail to glide from tree to tree. The reptile on the right is a gecko. The X-ray imaging system that was used would be characterized as a research grade instrument and used low voltage and a 0.5 mm spot size producing a high-resolution image.
