This photograph reveals the structures of the Caribbean Lily, or Scilla peruviana,
a bulb-bearing herbaceous perennial plant, which is ironically misnamed. It is not from the Caribbean or Peru but rather, this plant is native to the Mediterranean area. Scilla peruviana is a bulb-bearing perennial plant. The bloom consists of 50–100 tiny flowers with 6 petals. Colors range from white to blue to purple. This image made using available light and a digital camera with a macro lens reveals the entire flower, which was 1–2 cm in diameter and reveals the tiny flowers and petals..
